We are pleased to announce that Ken Roczen will be returning to the SuperMotocross World Championship in 2025, riding the Suzuki RM-Z450, thanks to Suzuki Motor USA, LLC and H.E.P. Motorsports.
Roczen, who has performed well with the squad in recent years, will compete at the top level once more. “I can’t wait to keep up my relationship with Suzuki and the team,” Roczen stated. “We are excited to keep pursuing our goals of victories and podiums after having a fairly successful couple of years.”
Chris Wheeler, Motorsports Manager of Suzuki Motor USA, expressed his pride in Ken Roczen’s decision to once again select Suzuki and H.E.P. Motorsports for his championship pursuits. “Everyone in the program is elevated by Ken’s talent, passion, and presence, which gives us all a sense of unity as we work toward success together.
We are excited to see Ken leading the way on his RM-Z450, and we adore the challenge of SMX. Ken will compete on the Suzuki RM-Z450 in his third year with the Progressive Insurance Ecstar Suzuki Team in 2025. Given his experience on the bike and his knowledge with the squad, he hopes to race well and challenge for victories.
I’m thrilled to have Ken rejoin the club for another season. “He is the ultimate professional on and off the racetrack,” said Dustin Pipes, Team Principal at H.E.P. Motorsports. Having Ken on the highly powerful RM-Z450 adds excitement to every race day for the team, and he is a remarkable talent who can win any race he enters. We’ll be putting in a lot of effort to get to the top step of the podium once more.
“It’s been thrilling to watch Ken not only compete but also represent the sport well as the team’s title sponsor for the past two seasons,” said Eric Doubler, Business Leader at Progressive Recreational Lines. “As the top motorcycle insurance provider in the nation, we are excited to watch what Ken does in the upcoming season because we share his passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to the sport.” Fans of Roczen and Suzuki are looking forward to the season’s opening gate drop, which is scheduled for January 11 in Anaheim.
