Both the New Orleans Saints and the Las Vegas Raiders need to improve their offensive lines and running games, respectively. With a deal, every team gets what they need.
The Las Vegas Raiders’ poor run game has contributed to their offensive woes. a significant problem for a group that was hoping to build momentum under new head coach Antonio Pierce.
The Silver and Black rank second-to-last in the league with an appalling 3.73 rushing yards per play and a pitiful 79.5 rushing yards per game. Their infrequent journeys to the red zone and lack of sustained drives have been greatly influenced by it.

It has negatively impacted their score. Their 2-4 record and inability to create any momentum against strong defenders are mostly the result of this. The Raiders have plenty of time to make improvements before the NFL trade deadline on November 5.
ESPN’s Bill Barnwell suggests trading offensive guard Andrus Peat to the Raiders in exchange for standout running back Kendre Miller of the New Orleans Saints. Peat was recently acquired by the Raiders from the Saints over the offseason.
Given the Saints’ subpar offensive line performance and the fact that rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler is playing quarterback in place of an injured Derek Carr, it might not be a bad idea to make an investment in protection.
“The Raiders signed Peat to a one-year deal this offseason, but he has played just 32 snaps,” Barnwell stated. “It can be useful to have his versatility on hand, but Miller is a younger guy with some potential that Las Vegas might trade him for. Due to an ankle injury, the second-year back missed half of his debut year. However, he rushed 73 yards in the season-ending game. On the first day of training camp, he appeared to get into coach Dennis Allen’s doghouse due to a hamstring ailment.
“After missing every game due to a hamstring injury, Miller is scheduled to return off injured reserve; nevertheless, it appears that he has already outstayed his welcome in New Orleans. A third-round selection, he appeared to have something as an explosive and quick power back in his senior season at TCU, rushing for 1,399 yards. Zamir White doesn’t seem to be a Raider, and rookie Dylan Laube stumbled last Sunday against the Steelers in a crucial situation. Miller joining the running back competition might help Vegas acquire a more important player going forward.”
