As of yesterday, Caleb Wilson, a five-star recruit, was scheduled to visit Arkansas this weekend to meet with John Calipari, but he has now canceled the trip.
Insider Adam Zagoria reports that Wilson’s family had planned a visit to the University of Arkansas this weekend, but will have to postpone it because of a scheduled game. Wilson is one of the most anticipated prospects in the class of 2025.
Although the Big Blue Nation will be pleased with the news at first, it will only result in a longer recruitment process in the long run. Wilson’s father affirmed that, albeit not this weekend, they will still travel to Arkansas. A fierce competition is developing to get the 6-foot-9 power forward from Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School in Atlanta for the upcoming season. He has already established himself as a valued prospect.
